About this yatra
For a Shiv bhakt, there is no darshan like Kailash. The mountain rises alone on the Tibetan plateau, and below it lies Lake Mansarovar — so still that it holds the sky. People wait their whole lives for this yatra. When the call comes, we make sure your body is ready, your papers are ready, and every risk is planned for.
Our Kailash yatra goes via Nepal: you fly to Kathmandu, cross into Tibet by road at Kerung and rise slowly through Saga to Mansarovar. Two rest days at altitude let your body adjust. A doctor travels with the group, oxygen is carried at all times, and our team handles the complete Nepal and China paperwork — you only carry your passport.
Highlights

Day-by-day plan
A sample plan — we adjust it to your dates, group and comfort.
Arrive in Kathmandu
Our team receives you at Tribhuvan Airport with a garland and takes you to the hotel. Evening briefing on the yatra, health and what to expect.
Pashupatinath darshan & medical check
Morning darshan at Pashupatinath and Guhyeshwari. Group medical check-up, gear check and document collection for the Tibet permit.
Kathmandu → Kerung (Kyirong)
Scenic drive through the hills to the Rasuwagadhi–Kerung border. Immigration into Tibet. Night stay at Kerung (approx. 2,700 m).
Rest day at Kerung
An important acclimatisation day. Short, slow walks, plenty of water, and early rest so the body adjusts to altitude.
Kerung → Saga
Drive across the high plateau past Peiku Tso lake to Saga (approx. 4,600 m). Oxygen and doctor on standby.
Saga → Lake Mansarovar
The first darshan of Mansarovar and Kailash. Evening at the lakeside guest house — many yatris watch the lake at night in silence.
Mansarovar puja → Darchen
Early morning snan and havan at Mansarovar. Drive around the lake and on to Darchen, base of the parikrama.
Parikrama Day 1: Yam Dwar → Dirapuk
Begin the kora at Yam Dwar. Walk (or ride a pony) about 12 km to Dirapuk, facing the North Face of Kailash — the most powerful darshan of the yatra.
Parikrama Day 2: Dolma La → Zuthulpuk
The hardest and holiest day — cross Dolma La (5,630 m) past Gauri Kund, then descend to Zuthulpuk. About 18–20 km.
Parikrama Day 3 → Saga
Short walk to finish the parikrama, meet the group at Darchen and drive back towards Saga. Yatris who did not walk wait comfortably at Darchen.
Saga → Kerung
Return drive to Kerung. A warm meal and early rest.
Kerung → Kathmandu
Cross back into Nepal and drive to Kathmandu. Celebration dinner with the group.
Kathmandu — rest & sightseeing
Free day for rest, Budhanilkantha and Swayambhunath, and shopping for prasad and rudraksha.

Questions about Kailash Mansarovar Yatra
Who can do the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra?
Most healthy adults between 18 and 70 can do the yatra with proper preparation. We ask every yatri for a basic medical fitness certificate. If you have heart, BP or lung problems, talk to us and your doctor first — we will tell you honestly whether the yatra is safe for you.
Is the Kailash parikrama compulsory?
No. Mansarovar darshan and snan are possible for everyone. The three-day parikrama is optional — yatris who prefer not to walk stay comfortably at Darchen while the group completes it.
What documents are needed for Kailash via Nepal?
An Indian passport valid for at least 6 months, passport photos and a medical certificate. We prepare the Chinese group visa and Tibet permits for you.
How do you handle altitude sickness?
By going slowly. We plan rest days at Kerung and Saga, carry oxygen cylinders, check everyone's oxygen level daily with oximeters, and our doctor decides if anyone needs to rest or descend. Safety comes before schedule.
What is the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra cost?
The price depends on the batch date, the route, hotel category and current permit fees. Message us on WhatsApp and we will send a written, all-inclusive quote with no hidden charges.
