About this holiday
Meghalaya feels like another world — bridges grown from living tree roots, boats that seem to float in the air on the Dawki river, and waterfalls pouring off green cliffs into the clouds.
We start with darshan at Kamakhya Devi in Guwahati and plan the hills at a gentle pace.

Questions about Meghalaya
Is the double-decker root bridge trek hard?
It involves about 3,500 steps each way, so it suits fit travellers. For elders, we plan the easy single-decker root bridge at Riwai.
When is Dawki river clearest?
November to April, when the water is calm and transparent.
Can we add Kaziranga?
Yes, Kaziranga National Park is a popular 2-day add-on from Guwahati.
